Per-call facility options - Called line address Modified Notification (CLAMN)


Description of Facility

The purpose of the CLAMN is to notify the calling DTE why the called DTE address is different than the one specified in the call request packet

0F call redirection due to prior request from the
originally called DTE for systematic call redirection
09 call redirection due to originally called DTE
out of order
01 call redirection due to originally called DTE busy
8x DTE originated (1xxxxxxx)
07 call distribution within a hunt group

X.25: Partially Supported

The UKb X.25 interface does not currently generate the CLAMN facility to inform a calling DTE of a modified called address

RD 0004 part 8:1.C (PICS proforma Public Network1984)

FR10 - Called Line Address Modified Notification.... O = Optional

Therefore release 4 is compatible with ONA for this option.

Test plan and implementation issues

Customers may now be given additional option of CLAMN and CRN subscription.

Another tricky one to test - we need to try all combinations of -

call redirection group

CRN

CLAMN

enhanced DTE

call originator 1980

call receiver 1980

+ all facility options that could be generated by either end

+ mixing with other options such as hunt group
