Telecommunications - Configuration of X.25 Reverse Charging

Subscription Option - Reverse Charging Acceptance

Subscription Option - Local charging prevention

This facility, if subscribed to, authorises the network to transmit to the DTE incoming calls which request the reverse charge facility.

Normally calls are paid for by the calling party, reverse charge ensures that the called party pays for the call, if the called DTE accepts the call.

UK(a) = supported

UK(b) = supported, although may not be supported at launch due to upgrade required on billing program.

UK(b) - Although UKb already have facilities to negotiate reverse charge, the billing programs ignores this information. Therefore UKb effectively do not support reverse charge. There is an enhancement at LOG II to pass reverse charge information to the SUP when a call setup is requested. I don't think this is required for reverse charge billing, but we need to check this.

Already supported - no change at release 4.
