Technology - Shuttle PC - Unpacking

To see the components that I chose and why, goto here first.

I am using the Shuttle sn25p system for further information about the options and why I chose this system see this page.

I could not resist opening the Shuttle box first, inside this box is another box,

Inside is the computer itself,

a non-UK mains socket,

and a box with various smaller components,

This contains the following, (including English Installation Guide, French Installation Guide (marked as SB81P ??) , Mainboard Manual, nVidia Raid Manual, Manual/Utilities/Drivers CD and Shuttle Extra (PC-Cillin2004, Muvee autoProducer3.1 and Acrobat Reader V6.0)).

I nearly missed this pack of thermal compound in the pack, I didn't look at it carefully enough and thought it was one of those silica gel things, luckily I checked again later.

I checked the outside of the computer and everything looks OK except that one of the little green doors on the SPDIF out optical seems to be stuck inside.

To continue with the shuttle goto building the system
